Trinity United Methodist Church Became located on Western Ave. in 1962, but antecedent churches started back in 1889 that through mergers and growth became Trinity. (See our history section HERE). We’re currently located at 5613 Western Avenue in North-West Knoxville Tennessee. We feel fortunate that this location is only minutes from anywhere in town, thanks to our close proximity to Knoxville’s I-640 interstate bypass. Directions from anywhere to our location are available HERE. We haven’t always been here on Western Avenue; we began “life” as a downtown church, constructing a new building for our expanding congregation at our current location in 1962. We are considered by many as a “medium” size church. Relative to the size of our congregation, we feel we are rich in resources. We are fully staffed and, as with many churches, have an active volunteer of core workers that round out our activities and operations support. Additionally, our most successful mission is our Trinity United Methodist Church Day Care program. More detailed information about that program is available HERE.
Nothing is more constant than God, and worldly change. In an organized effort to balance these two conditions, we established common goals and objectives that are preserved in our Mission Statement and our Vision Statement.
